Jae-Eung Kim is currently a senior researcher at Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) since 2017, Korea. He completed his Ph.D. in the biological systems engineering laboratory at the Virginia Tech. He focused on cell-free pathway construction for bio-hydrogen production and directed evolution. Currently, he is working in the research group highly interested in metabolic engineering of yeast for production of industrially-relevant terpenoids.
