Dr. Kim is currently an senior researcher at the Bio-based Chemistry Research Center of Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology (KRICT) since 2013, Korea. Before joining the KRICT, he was a research fellow at the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering of National University of Singapore (Prof. Dong Yup Lee). He completed his Ph.D. at the Korea University (Prof. Kyoung Heon Kim). He has focused on the development of pretreatment and saccharification system using agarose and alginate from red and brown algae, respectively.
