Prof. Lee is currently an associate professor at the Department of Biotechnology and Bioengineering of Chonnam National University since 2014, Korea. Before joining the Chonnam National University, he was a principal research scientist in the Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology. He completed his Ph.D. in the metabolic and biomolecular engineering laboratory at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. He has focused on the metabolic engineering of microorganisms and application of surface display. As of August 2018, he published over 40 scientific articles and 30 patents.
