Dr Lim is a Research Fellow in A/P Yew Wen Shan’s lab in the NUS Synthetic Biology for Clinical and Technological Innovation (SynCTI) programme. Lim obtained a Ph.D. from the Department of Biochemistry, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS), where she conceived of a novel study to screen for anti-ageing compounds using mitochondrial function assays. She is currently working on the biosynthesis of cannabinoids in Yarrowia lipolytica, and also on the engineering of thermostable lipases
