Adison Wong is Assistant Professor in the department of Chemical Engineering and Food Technology at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). His research interests include metabolic engineering, microbiome engineering and bioprocessing. He is also partner and technical director of Longrunn Medical Technology, a biotech start-up focused on bio-derived sweeteners. Adison is actively involved in the discussion of research initiatives with national agencies and has organized multiple conferences and workshops to promote synthetic biology in Singapore. His research were published in flagship journals including Molecular Systems Biology (awarded Best Research Article 2011), BMC Biology and Nature Communications.
