Professor Taizo Hanai’s principal research interests lie in the field of the synthetic metabolic pathway and the synthetic genetic circuit. He graduated with a Ph.D. from Nagoya University, Japan in 1996. He is now the associate professor in the Graduate School of Systems Life Sciences in Kyushu University in Japan.
