Prof. Ding is a Professor at the Zhongshan Schoolf of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University, at Guangzhou, China.
Prof. Ding obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Oklahoma State University. Ding received his postdoctoral training in the University of Michigan Medical School, where he worked with Prof. Patrick Schloss on gut microbiome roles in Crohn’s disease. Ding completed his training in the New York University, where he worked with Prof. Elodie Ghedin, on the systems biology of respiratory microbiome in infectious disease.
