Prof. Yu is a Professor in College of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Zhejiang University. He obtained his Bachelor degree in 1995 and Master degree in 1998 in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, China and his Ph.D in 2002 in Chemical Engineering from National University of Singapore. After working in National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University and California Institute of Technology, he went back China and took the professorship in Zhejiang University in 2007. Prof. Yu has published over 80 papers in journals such as Nature Communications, Metabolic Engineering, Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Chemical Communications, ACS Synthetic Biology.
