Prof. Xue is a Professor in the Key Laboratory of Synthetic Biology, Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Xue received her Ph.D. in Microbiology, at Technical University Braunschweig (Germany) in 2011. Her current research focus on synthetic microbiology, especially the genome-scale engineering of model microorganisms Saccharomyces cerevisae and Escherichia coli. She has published relevant papers in Nature, Cell Research, and Nucleic Acids Research as a co-corresponding author or first author.
