Dr. Wu is an associate professor in Department of chemistry, Zhejiang University. Wu received his Ph.D in 2003 under the supervision of Prof. Lin XF in Zhejiang University, where he studied the non-aqueous enzymology and the synthesis of glycol-conjugates. After graduation, he worked as a post-doctor at Zhejiang University in 2003-2005, and became an associate professor at Department of chemistry. In 2008-2010, he was a visiting professor in Reetz Group, Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung (Mülheim an der Ruhr). His research interests are in the rational design of enzymes and their applications in the precision synthesis of chiral compounds.
